TRANSMUTED International Performance Art Network, El Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes a través de Ex Teresa Arte Actual, en acuerdo con Taller Multinacional, convocan a participar en el programa TRANSMUTED Residencias 2012.
Bases:
1. Podrán participar artistas dedicados al performance, de cualquier nacionalidad, de 18 años en adelante, con un proyecto de arte de acción a desarrollar en la Ciudad de México.
2. Se seleccionarán tres artistas.
3. Los artistas seleccionados presentarán un performance en el Museo Ex Teresa Arte Actual. Asimismo, ofrecerán una charla abierta al público en el Taller Multinacional. No se aceptarán instalaciones.
4. Los organizadores brindarán la asistencia técnica a su alcance para la realización, presentación y difusión de las piezas.
5. El Programa de Residencias cubre únicamente los gastos de hospedaje y transporte local (aeropuerto-residencia-aeropuerto); y, debido al perfil del Programa; el resto de los gastos (transporte, viáticos y alimentos) correrán a cargo de los participantes seleccionados. Los organizadores brindarán un lugar de residencia, que consta de habitación con servicios básicos, wi-fi y teléfono móvil.
6. Tanto el material como los instrumentos necesarios para realizar las piezas son responsabilidad de los artistas. Bajo ninguna circunstancia, los organizadores se harán responsables de daños totales o parciales ocurridos a equipos y/o materiales.
7. Bajo ninguna circunstancia, el programa de residencias se hará responsable de enfermedades contraídas, accidentes sufridos o deceso.
8. Habrá tres periodos de residencia. En cada periodo se recibirá a uno de los tres seleccionados. Las fechas de presentación final en Ex Teresa Arte Actual, serán: viernes 29 de junio, viernes 24 de agosto y viernes 26 de octubre. Estas fechas no se podrán modificar.
9. Del mismo modo, se programarán charlas en Taller Multinacional, con fechas determinadas por los organizadores.
10. Las propuestas deberán enviarse por correo electrónico a residence@transmuted.net
11. Se deberá incluir un archivo de texto (.doc .pdf. txt) con los siguientes datos: título, nombre del artista, teléfono, e-mail y dirección postal, breve biografía del artista (una página máximo).
12. Fecha límite de recepción de propuestas de proyectos: lunes 7 de mayo de 2012.
13. Los miembros del jurado, cuyos nombres serán dados a conocer con posterioridad al fallo, seleccionarán las propuestas teniendo como criterio la calidad, originalidad y viabilidad de las mismas. Su fallo será inapelable.
14. Cualquier caso no previsto, deberá presentarse al jurado para su resolución.

TRANSMUTED International Performance Network, The Mexican National Institute of Fine Arts and Ex Teresa Arte Actual, in collaboration with Taller Multinacional, invite you to participate at the TRANSMUTED Residency Program 2012.
1.- Eligible candidates are visual artists dedicated to performance, from any nationality, 18 years and older, who would like to develop a performative project in Mexico City.
2. Three artists will be selected to take part in the residency.
3. Selected artists will be invited to present a performance work at Ex Teresa Arte Actual Museum, as well as a an artist talk at Taller Multinacional. Installations are not accepted.
4. The organizers will provide technical assistance towards the production, presentation and production of the new work.
5. The Residency Program only covers rooming and local transportation costs (to and from the airport). Travel to Mexico City, meals, and other expenses are covered by participating artists. Organizers will provide a place for the artists to stay equipped with basic services, wi-fi, and mobile phone.
6. Material and equipment costs for the piece are responsibility of the artist. The Residency Program is not responsible for any damage to materials or equipment.
7. The Residency Program is not responsible, under any circumstance, in case of accident, illness or death.
8. There will be three residency periods. Each period will receive each of the selected artists. The dates of the final presentations at Ex Teresa Museum will be: Friday, June 29th; Friday, August 24th; Friday, October 26th. The dates are set and not subject to change.
9. The organizers determine the dates for the artist talk at Taller Multinacional.
10. Proposals should be sent via email to: residence@transmuted.net
11. Please include a text document (.doc .pdf. txt) with the following information: title, name of the artist, telephone number, email, mailing address, brief biography (one page maximum).
12. Deadline: May 7, 2012.
13. The names of the members of the jury will be made public after decisions have been made. They will select resident artists based on the quality, originality and viability of the application. Their decision is final.
14. Any case that are not considered, should be requested to the jury to be solved.
